“Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.” Ephesians 4:15-16

Women’s Discipleship at Good Shepherd exists to build up the entire congregation by strengthening our women: we are one body, and when one part is strengthened, the rest of body is built up.

Through discipleship– coming alongside one another as God does his work in us to make us look more like Christ– we grow in our knowledge, understanding, and love for God and his word. We want to be drawn into the beauty of Christ, so that we learn the mind of Christ, as the Holy Spirit does his work to transform us to look more like Christ.

Trios

Groups of three women, called trios, meet for a semester-long study of God’s word. In trios, we study God’s word, use it as our lens to see all of life, and wrestle together to apply the truth of the gospel to our hearts.

Sign-ups for trios are open every August and January, and trios begin meeting every September and February. For more information about trios or discipleship, please contact Brynne Lancaster, our Women’s Discipleship Director.
