New to GSPC?

Welcome to Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church.  We hope that our website will introduce you to who we are as a community of believers.  Below are questions that people who are new to Good Shepherd ask most frequently.

What time is your worship service?
Sunday worship service begins at 10:45am in our sanctuary.  The worship service last about an hour.

What is the worship style?
Our worship style draws from many different influences and blends both modern and old music with elements of corporate worship.  Teaching uses Scripture as its foundation and is aimed at understanding the Good News of Jesus more.  We celebrate the Lord’s Supper weekly.

What should I wear?
We encourage you to wear clothing that you are comfortable wearing.  We are concerned with people’s hearts, not their fashion sense.

What about Bible Study?
Our time of fellowship and Bible exploration begins at 9:30am with breakfast and classes break out at 9:45am.

What about my kids?
At Good Shepherd, we love children.  We provide Sunday School classes for all ages, nursery through high school.  Children are welcome in the worship service, but we also provide other opportunities for care and learning.  During the worship service, infants through 3 years will be cared for by our loving nursery team.  Children ages 4-2nd grade and 3rd-5th will join their parents for the first part of the worship service and then each age group will be led to a special time of worship designed just for them.

What kind of church are you?
We are a church that believes in the whole of the Bible and its truth about Jesus Christ being the only mediator between God and man.  We value community and desire to create an environment where believers can fellowship with one another and non-believers can find answers to questions they have about life and faith.  More information about our beliefs can be found here.

Good Shepherd is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA).  For more information on the PCA, visit pcanet.org.
