Welcome to Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church. We hope that our website will introduce you to who we are as a community of believers. Below are questions that people who are new to Good Shepherd ask most frequently.
What time is your worship service?
Sunday worship service begins at 10:30 am in our sanctuary. The worship service lasts a little over an hour, sometimes an hour and a half.
What is the worship style?
Our worship style draws from many different influences and blends modern, traditional, and ancient elements in corporate worship. Teaching uses Scripture as its foundation and is aimed at understanding the Good News of Jesus. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper weekly.
What should I wear?
We encourage you to wear clothing that you are comfortable wearing. We are concerned with people’s hearts, not their fashion sense.
What about Bible Study?
Our time of fellowship and Bible exploration begins at 9:15 am with breakfast and classes break out at 9:30 am.
What about my kids?
At Good Shepherd, we love children. We provide Sunday School classes for all ages–nursery through high school. During our worship service we enjoy having children among us and expect there to be noise, movement, etc. Our hope is that the worship service will be accessible to children and that parents will take opportunities to lead their children in worship. We print bulletins each week which can be a way for kids to feel more engaged, as well as colored pencils and coloring sheets. Nursery care for infants up to through 3 years old is available, by our loving nursery team.
What kind of church are you?
We are a church that believes in the whole of the Bible and its truth about Jesus Christ being the only mediator between God and man. We value community and desire to create an environment where believers can fellowship with one another and non-believers can find answers to questions they have about life and faith. More information about our beliefs can be found here.
