Michael grew up in Macon, Georgia and has wanted to be a pastor since age 15. He met his wife Amy at Samford University, where he acquired a Bachelor’s degree in Religion, and he graduated from Covenant Seminary in 2007 with a Master of Divinity degree. Michael loves his family, food, sports, and preaching. He is a non-conformist with a dry sense of humor.
