Community Bible Reading (CBR) is one tool that we encouraged people to use as a bible reading plan. Some of the wonderful things about this plan are the many resources available, i.e. smart phone app, audio version, church bulletin print out… Many people at Good Shepherd use this plan, which is great avenue for common experience and natural community to happen around God’s word.

Download the mobile app onto your smart phone by searching “Community Bible Reading” in your app store (it’s the one put out by Subsplash Consulting)

Community Bible Reading (CBR) is a not only a Bible reading plan but also what we believe to be one of the most effective ways to experience God’s word, in community with other believers.

This plan allows you to read through the Bible in two ways:

You can read through the Bible in a calendar year by reading one New Testament chapter and three Old Testament chapters each weekday and three Old Testament chapters each weekend.

You can also read through the Bible in three years by reading the first two columns this year, the first and third columns next year, and the first and fourth columns the following year.

Whichever plan you choose, the purpose is the same: to be a people of God’s word.

May God bless our reading of His word this year!
